Remove Laces and Insoles:
Take out the laces and insoles from your sneakers. This allows for a thorough cleaning and prevents any damage to these components.
Brush Off Loose Dirt:
Use a soft brush to gently remove any loose dirt or debris from the surface of the sneakers. Pay attention to seams, crevices, and the sole.
Prepare a Soapy Solution:
Mix a small amount of mild soap with warm water in a bowl. Avoid harsh chemicals as they may damage the materials.
Spot Cleaning:
Dip a toothbrush into the soapy solution and gently scrub any stained or soiled areas. Be cautious not to scrub too hard, especially on sensitive materials.
Wipe Down:
Use a damp cloth to wipe down the entire surface of the sneakers. Ensure you remove all soap residue. Repeat if necessary.
Clean the Insoles and Laces:
Scrub the insoles and laces separately in the soapy water. Rinse and let them air dry.
Air Dry:
Allow your sneakers to air dry naturally. Avoid using direct heat sources like hairdryers, as they can damage the materials.
Reassemble:
Once everything is dry, reinsert the insoles and re-lace your sneakers. They are now ready to hit the streets looking fresh and clean.
